About the Role

You will play a key role in liaising with Global offices and accounting clients and other internal departments within the Isle of Man.  You will be required to ensure that our global client entities are controlled and reported firm wide effectively, managing the workflow of accounts preparation and providing support to the A&T Board and Ops Team.  

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Handling the overall management and supervision of the accounting departments workflow
  • Delegating tasks to individual accountants and bookkeepers to ensure deadlines are met in a timely manner
  • Ensuring NAV information is complete and accurate.  Ensure the use of appropriate internal controls
  • Train, and supervise the admin team, and oversee and support accounting staff
  • Preparing reports for management and other stakeholders
  • Developing and implement accounting admin policies and procedures

About You

Skills and Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation and external clients 
  • Be a self-starter and possess excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to collaborate easily and effectively with Global colleagues within the organisation and external clients
  • Dedication, enthusiasm, and drive are key characteristics 
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, lead a team and stay calm under stressful situations
  • The ability to adapt to changing circumstances is essential in this role
  • Leadership and team management skills are required to guide and motivate the team
  • IT literate, and the ability to multi-task with good written and verbal communication skills
