About The Role.

Working closely with the HR Manager (based in Cayman), you will work alongside the Global HR team to support the delivery of the Suntera People strategy. The primary focus of this role is to support in sourcing and engaging talent to support the ongoing growth in the US.  This will involve building a talent pipeline, attending college and university fairs, building the Suntera brand and securing talent to add to the amazing team.  You will be integral to the development of our inclusive workplace culture and will provide support on a wide range of HR activities both locally across the Group. Your key areas of focus will include operational HR support within our business including recruitment, performance management, payroll, employee relations and benefits.  

Your duties will include:

  • Provide end to end recruitment administration support to recruiting managers as part of the selection and interview process 
  • Attend and contribute to recruitment interviews to ensure all HR matters are discussed and agreed and the interview notes are saved for audit purposes
  • Ensure the accurate and timely production and circulation of job adverts on the website and any relevant job portals
  • Stakeholder collaboration, acting as the first point of contact locally for directors, managers, employees, candidates and external agencies 
  • Shaping recruitment strategies and developing a talent pipeline to meet future needs
  • Respond or re-direct incoming questions and queries in a timely, professional and approachable manner
  • Ensure the website and social media recruitment advertising is regularly updated according to business needs and in line with budget, focusing on the target market for the role and ensuing brand guidelines are followed
  • Update job descriptions and ensure they are aligned with business needs as well as regulatory requirements (where appropriate)
  • Maintain our HRIS system and other databases to ensure employees records are correct (e.g., annual leave maintenance, reconciling and updating absence records, maintaining performance management records, change of personal data). 
  • Administer both the onboarding and offboarding process, including contract and offer letter preparation and pre-screening
  • Support the administration tasks associated with the Employee lifecycle 
  • Support with Induction delivery in the US  and ensure new starters have all the relevant information required
  • Collating payroll information 
  • General administrative HR related tasks
  • Support reporting needs (as required)

About you.

Skills and Requirements:

  • You will be an enthusiastic and methodical individual. You may be working towards a HR Qualification, or you will have experience working in a HR environment. 
  • Previous recruitment experience and management of candidate experience
  • High degree of confidentiality and integrity 
  • IT experience with Microsoft package and HRIS systems would be an advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at different levels, including senior staff members
  • Knowledge of current employment legislation and an interest in current thinking in HR issues and trends
  • Practical and logical with an organised approach to work; able to solve problems quickly
  • Driven and determined 
  • Excellent writing ability and attention to detail
