About The Role.

Suntera Global is proud to offer a range of services, with fund administration identified as a key strategic growth area over the coming years. As we focus on expanding this offering, we are seeking a qualified accountant to join our dynamic team in the Isle of Man and be part of this exciting journey. As a Fund Accounting Operations Analyst, you will compile and review valuations and accounting records for a broad range of offshore funds and associated special purpose vehicles and fund management companies. 

Your duties will include:

  • Improve and maintain our internal control environment to ensure efficiencies and compliance with accounting standards, collective investment scheme regulations and fund constitutional documents.
  • Problem solve and develop solutions for complex accounting or technical situations.
  • Build strong client relationships by providing expert, value-added and efficient services.
  • Assist global jurisdictions with accounting and administrative tasks. 
  • Prepare financial statements for global jurisdictions Fund clients. 
  • Assist global jurisdictions with billing, regulatory reporting and any ad-hoc requests.

About you.

You will be a qualified accountant, ideally with experience in the audit of collective investment schemes and valuation of investments.

The following attributes would also be advantageous:

  • Knowledge of the regulatory and compliance environment required for managing and administering collective investment schemes.
  • Knowledge of investments, including accounting for financial derivatives and other structured products, an understanding of fund accounting systems and the interfaces for the automated upload of investment prices, trades, and other information from investment managers and brokers.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive attitude with strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines and appropriately prioritise tasks.
