Job Description

About The Role.

We are looking for an experienced CRM Manager to lead the development, optimisation and day-to-day management of our CRM platform and customer data strategy.

This role is responsible for ensuring the CRM supports the commercial and marketing objectives of the business through effective processes, automation, reporting and customer engagement. Working closely with Marketing, Business Development and operational teams, the CRM Manager will drive improvements in data quality, user adoption, customer journey management and marketing effectiveness. The role will also play a key part in supporting business growth through CRM enhancements, integrations, migrations and process optimisation.

Your duties will include:

CRM Strategy & Management
  • Own and develop the CRM roadmap, ensuring it supports business objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of the CRM platform.
  • Drive CRM best practices, governance and user adoption across the business.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for CRM-related projects, enhancements and support.

Marketing Automation & Email Marketing
  • Manage and optimise email marketing and customer journey programmes.
  • Develop automated campaigns, workflows and lifecycle communications.
  • Work with Marketing to improve lead generation, lead nurturing and campaign performance.
  • Support customer segmentation and personalisation initiatives.
  • Ensure all email marketing activity complies with GDPR and data privacy regulations.

Data, Reporting & Insights
  • Maintain high standards of CRM data quality, accuracy and integrity.
  • Develop dashboards, reports and insights to support commercial decision-making.
  • Monitor lead performance, sales pipelines and marketing effectiveness.
  • Support lead attribution, lead scoring and customer lifecycle reporting.

Process Improvement & Automation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes through automation and technology.
  • Support CRM integrations and the flow of data across business systems.
  • Lead CRM-related migrations, data cleansing and system enhancement projects.
  • Explore new technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency and user experience.

Stakeholder Management
  • Partner with teams across Marketing, Sales, Business Development and Operations.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into practical CRM solutions.
  • Deliver user training, guidance and support.
  • Manage relationships with external CRM partners and vendors.

Skills and Requirements: 

Essential
  • Experience managing and developing CRM platforms.
  • Strong understanding of CRM best practice, customer journeys and marketing automation.
  • Experience delivering email marketing campaigns and automated customer communications.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience improving business processes and driving user adoption.
  • Good understanding of GDPR and data governance principles.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.

Desirable
  • Experience in the Funds/TCSP sector.
  • Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM platforms.
  • Experience of CRM migrations and systems integration projects.
  • Knowledge of lead scoring, customer segmentation and attribution reporting.
  • Experience using automation and AI tools within a CRM environment.
  • Experience working within a professional services or regulated business environment.
