Job Description

About The Role.

As Client Services Director, you will provide professional, high-level expertise to manage and oversee the efficient and profitable administration of trusts and companies, alongside managing your client administration team. You will exercise independent responsibility and discretion, working to broad parameters and policy guidance with direct responsibility to the Board.

Your duties will include:

  • Fulfil the specific requirements for Directors under the Hong Kong TCSP Ordinance and other relevant legislation
  • Act as an Authorised Signatory for Suntera on all matters, acting as Director on client entities and as a representative of corporate trustee for client entities
  • Work closely with the Board members on client-related matters to ensure all aspects of client services are provided in a satisfactory and timely manner
  • Provide technical trust expertise to clients and team members to achieve a “right first time” approach to client management 
  • Be responsible for the business development processes and initiatives with a view to developing and building the client base, increasing revenue and client portfolios 
  • Attend networking events, conferences and utilise network to support the introduction of new clients, working with Business Development colleagues across the group
  • Ensure the team are always delivering service excellence and are adhering to all compliance, governance and risk management processes
  • Ensure the corporate brand is always upheld and represent the company professionally at client meetings and events
  • Effectively manage reporting line manager and other employees including coordinating employee appraisals, assisting with the recruitment of additional team members and monitoring and reviewing performance of reporting lines

About you.

You will be a Hong Kong resident with good organisational skills and experience working in a trust and company administration environment. The following attributes would also be advantageous:

  • Proven track record with successful business development activities, with a strong network of intermediaries 
  • The drive to deliver a high-quality service to clients, coaching the team to deliver the same
  • Experience operating complex trust structures 
  • Hold a relevant professional qualification (STEP/CGI) with the flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills both in English and Chinese languages
  • Appropriate computer knowledge, including Microsoft package and NavOne, would be an advantage 
  • A good understanding of general compliance, governance and risk frameworks
