Michael is an entrepreneurial financial services executive with more than 30 years of experience spanning trading, operations, and fund administration. As Global Head of Funds at Suntera, he leads the strategic direction and operational delivery of fund services globally, with a focus on innovation, scalability, and client partnership.
He joined Suntera in April 2022 following the acquisition of Socium, LLC, the private equity-focused fund administrator he co-founded. At Socium, Michael helped build a technology-enabled platform designed to meet the evolving needs of alternative asset managers through a combination of advanced infrastructure and high-touch, consultative service.
Before Socium, Michael served as Senior Managing Director and Head of U.S. Operations for the Alternative Investment Solutions group at U.S. Bancorp Fund Services, where he oversaw large-scale operational platforms supporting alternative investment clients. Earlier in his career, he was a non-agency mortgage and whole loan trader at Dillon Read Capital Management. He began his career in public accounting at KPMG before holding senior roles at Merrill Lynch in Fixed Income Operations and at UBS (formerly PaineWebber), where he served as CFO of the Commercial Real Estate Division.
Michael is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Wagner College and a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University.
