Mahip joined Suntera in December 2025 following our acquisition of Aurtus Singapore. As the founder and Director of Suntera (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., he brings more than 25 years of experience advising clients across diverse industries with international and local tax planning, funds advisory and set up, business structuring, negotiating tax incentives, due diligence, tax controls, tax compliance, GST and transfer pricing.
Mahip has worked with business associations and government agencies on tax law reforms, legislation drafting, and training revenue officers. His client portfolio spans leading multinational groups across financial services, IT, energy, mining, manufacturing, and logistics. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), where he ranked in the top 20 in both exam stages, and of Singapore Chartered Tax Professionals. Additionally, he has completed all three levels of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Program.
Before establishing Aurtus, he was Tax Partner at Dhruva Advisors Singapore from 2016 to 2023 and held a similar role at PricewaterhouseCoopers Singapore between 2012 and 2016. He also brings in-house expertise from Standard Chartered Bank, where he served as Global Tax Lead for Private Equity, Funds, and international businesses, providing governance and support for numerous successful deals.
