Lucas Ting is a Client Services Director within Suntera’s Private Wealth team in Hong Kong, bringing over 13 years of experience advising (ultra) high-net-worth individuals/families and their closely held businesses on complex tax and legal matters. His expertise spans across trust, estate and succession planning, as well as non-contentious probate, with a strong track record of delivering practical, cross-border solutions.
In addition to his advisory work, Lucas is experienced in tax dispute resolution and has successfully represented clients in engagements with both the Australian Taxation Office and the Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department.
Lucas holds a Bachelor degree in Tax Law from the University of New South Wales. He is a Fellow of the Tax Institute of Australia and is actively involved in the international tax community. His current roles include Secretary of the International Fiscal Association (APAC Region), Executive Committee Member of the IFA Hong Kong Branch, and Chair of the Young IFA Network in Hong Kong. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the University of Law Alumni Network in Hong Kong.
