About The Role.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic finance team at a leading global fiduciary and fund services business based in Jersey, Channel Islands. As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial information for decision-making purposes. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to provide valuable insights into financial performance, helping to drive strategic initiatives and business growth.

Your duties will include:

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts
Prepare financial models, including revenue and expense projections, for use in strategic planning
Analyse variances between actual financial results and budget/forecast, identifying trends and actionable insights
Support the preparation of periodic management reporting, including performance analysis and financial summaries
Ensure data accuracy and integrity across various financial systems and reports
Monitor and report on business trends and performance indicators that impact profitability and operational efficiency
Act as a business partner with divisional management ensuring they understand their performance against the group’s key KPI’s

About you.

Skills and Requirements:

Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, or CIMA would be advantageous
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced skills in data analysis, financial modelling, and reporting)
Experience using NavOne is beneficial but not essential
Experience using SQL for data extraction and manipulation, is beneficial but not required
Prior experience working within a finance function
Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards relevant to the fiduciary and fund services sector
Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large volumes of data, identifying trends and key insights
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
