About The Role.

Working with a team of twenty highly experienced Trust professionals who provide every service one would expect from a modern fiduciary firm, but with a focus on building and maintaining open and creative partnerships with their wide-ranging client base. 

As a Client Director of the Private Wealth Division in Guernsey, you will be an integral part of the senior management team responsible for development, growth, driving client service excellence and the operational excellence for our Private Wealth Services team in Guernsey. You will also be responsible for ensuring the control framework, policies and procedures and risk management environment are in place to run a legal and regulatory compliant business.

Your duties will include:

  • Work with the Private Wealth Management Team to develop a best-in-class approach to client service and operational excellence
  • Lead client relationships, ensuring their needs are fulfilled by the team with strong governance considerations and timely execution of activities at the forefront of the team’s mind
  • Lead by example, engage and motivate staff. Assist with recruitment and selection and be responsible for the effective performance management and development of your team
  • Be responsible for the implementation of KPIs and ensuring profitability for Guernsey Private Wealth division and delivering margin improvements 
  • Create and maintain workflows to ensure resources are deployed consistently across the team, ensuring work is delegated fairly and in line with utilisation targets
  • Create and implement an effective strategy to increase client satisfaction through more efficient administration processes and Group alignment
  • Identify clear growth strategies for both existing and new service offerings and build on existing client relationships
  • Foster a culture of compliance-led operational excellence to ensure the business operates and grows in a well-structured manner
  • Demonstrate respect, trust, support and give and receive constructive support and challenge to colleagues at all levels of the organisation
  • Create strong relationships with other business lines, peers, and colleagues to ensure effective visibility and increased workability to deliver the wider jurisdiction and divisional business plan alongside the rest of the Private Wealth Management Team
  • Ensure that AGMS/Accounts/Tax/FATCA/CRS are completed and filed within the deadlines
  • Have the opportunity to get involved in Company-wide projects
  • Act as an A-signatory
