Chad Phillips

Chad joined Suntera Global in September 2025 as Business Development Director within the Private Wealth team in Jersey, bringing over 18 years of experience in offshore fiduciary and wealth management. 

He specialises in succession and legacy planning, cross-border structuring, and building long-term relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) families across Africa. Having carried out business across the African continent for many years, Chad combines strategic insight with deep cultural understanding.

Originally from South Africa, Chad has lived in Jersey for nearly 25 years yet remains strongly connected to his home country and its people. This connection enhances his ability to support African families and corporate clients in navigating generational wealth transfer, family governance, and asset protection across multiple jurisdictions.

Chad works closely with intermediaries including financial advisers, investment firms, and family office consultants to deliver bespoke, tax-efficient solutions tailored to each client’s personal and business goals. 

He holds the Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation, is a member of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in Jersey and brings a unique perspective from his earlier career in construction and civil engineering, holding the ACIOB designation.
