Leonie Cannan, a Trust Manager at Suntera Global, has been recognised as a rising star of the private client industry in eprivateclient’s 2026 Crown Dependencies NextGen Leaders List.
The annual list, which was published on 29 June, aims to identify and celebrate young practitioners working in diverse areas of the private client sector, spanning tax, trust, dispute resolution and legal services, across Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man.
Leonie has over 13 years of experience in the finance industry specialising in trust and private wealth services to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra HNW clients and families, with a particular focus in the Gulf and wider MENA region.
She has built up strong relationships with her clients by visiting them regularly and works closely with them to maintain, evolve and deliver structures according to their bespoke requirements.
To be featured in the list, judges consider a number of factors, including individual expertise, contribution to their business, achievements over the past year, career progression and company performance.
Janine Cubbon, Director, Head of Private Wealth – Isle of Man, Suntera Global said:
“Leonie has been a real asset to the firm since she joined us in 2013. Her commitment to consider and understand family dynamics so that we can provide future-proofed wealth planning shines through every element of her work and she fully deserves this recognition. We look forward to what the future holds for Leonie as she continues to excel in what she does, and I’d like to say a big congratulations and express our gratitude for all of her hard work.”
