Junior Compliance Assistant

Compliance is an essential part of operations in any corporate organisation. Through our compliance department, we can align the entire organisation behind internal policies, external regulations to ensure we are performing transparently, efficiently and ethically. As part of our continued global growth, we are looking for a junior individual to join our team and help us maintain this growth compliantly and effectively.

As a Junior Compliance Assistant, you will work closely within the compliance team to assist in a variety of administration and compliance matters. You will be working with a range of stakeholders across multiple internal departments to determine and meet their compliance requirements on a broad range of issues. You will also have the opportunity to:

• Assist with the take-on of new business;
• Complete administrative tasks as appropriate within set timescales;
• Attend internal and external training as required;
• Any other ad hoc duties as they arise.

You will be an enthusiastic individual with some experience of working in an office environment and a willingness to learn. The emphasis of this role will be on administrative support duties, so knowledge of regulation and legislation is not essential as training will be provided and you will have a support network within the department to assist you. The following attributes would also be advantageous:

• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
• A good understanding and knowledge of computer and information systems;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
