  Webinar        Wednesday 10th - Thursday 11th November 2021

Head of Forensic Services, Peter Allwright, will be speaking at the 2021 Cyber Security Symposium Africa webinar series on Wednesday 10th November.

Security companies have seen a definite increase in cybercriminals attacking individuals instead of organisations, except for ransomware attacks, as they know that if they gain access to a home network, they can easily access all the systems and services that it connects to.

This is why the Cyber Security Symposium Africa 2021 webinar series is placing a greater emphasis on the human firewall and ensuring that everything is done to prevent any form of cyberattacks.

CSSA 2021 will take place 10-11 November 2021. Over the two days, they will have a range of security expertise sharing their knowledge and insights on a range of information and cybersecurity-related topics.

Peter's presentation is titled "Inside the cauldron of fire" and will focus on ransomware. The talk will focus on a case study where Peter will take the audience through a real-life ransomware incident, what happened, what went wrong, what should have been done, and what he uncovered. He will also provide some suggestions for preventing ransomware attacks.
