About the Role

As the Beneficial Ownership Register Officer, you will join a small but committed team which covers all aspects of transparency and governance. The Transparency Team underpins our offering to our clients, and you will work with them to provide administrative support services. You will also have the opportunity to

  • Maintain the Beneficial Ownership Registers in the various jurisdictions in which Suntera operates
  • Monitor all operating jurisdictions for any changes to guidance, legislation or any new initiatives initiated
  • Develop the new Beneficial Ownership Register in the UK that is required under the new Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act Register for all relevant Suntera entities
  • Develop knowledge of other Transparency initiatives, i.e., Automatic Exchange of Information and Economic Substance to support other team members
  • Deal effectively and efficiently with internal administration matters to ensure they comply with the relevant external regulations and internal company policies.

About You

This role will provide a wide level of exposure to the Transparency and Tax Compliance functions within a regulated Corporate Service Provider business and is an ideal entry level role for someone who has just started, or is looking to start, their Compliance or Tax qualifications.

You will be an enthusiastic individual with:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • The ability to gain the trust and confidence of senior members of the team;
  • Exceptional organisational skills with excellent attention to detail; and
  • Strong computer literacy with good working knowledge of MS Office.
